Job summary

Pertemps Scotland is recruiting on behalf of a third-party client for an experienced Hire Manager to lead their Edinburgh branch.

This is a sales-focused role requiring leadership of a three-person team, ensuring excellent customer service, stock control, and safe, well-maintained hire equipment. You will drive branch targets and build strong customer relationships to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in tool hire, plant hire, sales or customer service.
• Previous team leadership or management experience is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to sales.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A strong focus on health and safety, teamwork and operational standards.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm, plus alternate Saturdays, 8:00am-12:00pm
