Job summary

Nationwide Platforms in Leeds is seeking a Hire Desk Controller to join our Customer Service Team on a fixed term contract for 12 months. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, onboarding new clients, and driving revenue through proactive service and quotes.

Based in Leeds, you will work to build strong relationships, manage end-to-end hire processes, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure competitive, high-quality service and customer retention.

Qualifications

• Inbound/outbound telephone-based account management or telesales experience in a B2B environment
• Strong customer focus with a high level of drive
• Excellent telephone manner and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication, with negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Own all inbound customer enquiries through to resolution
• Open new accounts and onboard new customers
• Provide quotations and identify cross/sell opportunities
• Follow up on open quotes to drive revenue in the region
• Capture accurate data in the order entry process for seamless service
• Understand and articulate product range to match customer needs
• Build strong interdepartmental relationships for a collaborative environment
• Resolve/ Escalate customer issues to closure
