Job summary

Speedy is seeking a Hire Desk Controller based in Wellington to coordinate the end-to-end hire process from order through to delivery and collection. You will work closely with the depot, stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure timely fulfilment and outstanding customer service.

The role is desk-based, with a focus on strong organisational and communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to learning within a busy hire environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience in the hire industry or similar sales/operational role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot teams to ensure customer needs are met and service is delivered.
• Work desk-based and collaborate with stock, drivers, and engineers to minimise delays.
