Job summary

Speedy Hire in Poole is seeking a Hire Controller to coordinate the end-to-end hire process—from taking orders to delivery and collection. You’ll liaise with each depot area to ensure customer needs are met and service is outstanding.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll work desk-based with other departments, stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays and keep customers satisfied. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and workloads.
• Commitment to learn and develop within the role.
• Driving licence required.
• Experience in hire industry or similar sales/operational role.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

• Coordinate the full hire process from order capture to delivery and collection, liaising with depot teams to meet customer needs.
