Job summary

PATH Recruitment is seeking a Hire Controller for a Leeds-based equipment rental business. The role is Monday to Friday, on-site, with a salary of £28,000–£31,000 and strong benefits. You will coordinate hires from enquiry to off-hire and support depot operations with a focus on excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has experience in equipment rental or hire desk, with excellent organisational and communication skills, and solid IT literacy to manage hire systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hire desk environment preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage hire systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound hire enquiries and convert to bookings.
• Schedule equipment deliveries and collections.
• Liaise with drivers, engineers and yard teams.
• Process hire contracts, extensions and off-hires.
• Build relationships with customers.
