Job Role: Hire Controller

• Managing on and off hires and liaising with trusted partners
• Organising the servicing of machines
• Handling plant hire, requiring excellent time management and self-management skills
• Dealing with customer site enquiries face-to-face, over the phone, and via email, arranging plant machinery hire and return
• Coordinating duties, including routing for drivers
• Following up on quotes and enquiries to maximise business opportunities
• Potential for progression; suitable for current Hire Controllers seeking career growth

Requirements for Success

Previous experience as a Plant Hire Manager, Hire Manager, Senior Hire Controller, Depot Manager, Branch Manager, Hire Negotiator, Plant Manager, or Hire Supervisor is desirable. Knowledge of the hire industry, including Heavy Plant, Diggers, Dumpers, Dozers, or operated plant, is advantageous.
