NEOS Engineering Recruitment in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Hire Controller to join a busy depot. You will manage incoming hire enquiries, prepare quotations, coordinate plant availability, and liaise with customers, drivers and engineers to ensure on-time delivery of equipment.

The role offers a competitive salary (£30,000 - £38,000), a bonus and excellent benefits, with Monday to Friday working and clear career progression within a growing plant hire business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Hire Controller, Hire Desk Controller, Hire Coordinator or Rental Controller.
• Experience within plant hire, tool hire, powered access, lifting, welfare, accommodation, generators or a related hire industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Managing incoming hire enquiries via phone and email.
• Preparing quotations and converting enquiries into hires.
• Coordinating plant availability, transport and collections.
• Liaising with customers, drivers and engineers to ensure smooth delivery of equipment.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established and growing plant hire business looking to appoint an experienced Hire Controller to join their busy depot in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in plant hire, tool hire, powered access, lifting, welfare, accommodation or a similar hire environment who enjoys building customer relationships and delivering outstanding service.

You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team where no two days are the same, playing a key role in ensuring customers receive the right equipment, on time, every time.

The Role
