Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking an ambitious HWIL Simulator Systems Engineer to join the Hardware-in-the-Loop team. The role focuses on maintaining real‑time simulations and ensuring simulators and control systems are fit for purpose, with hands‑on hardware work and planned maintenance.

You will develop and support a range of hydraulic motion simulators and antenna positioning systems, operating in a dynamic environment that prioritises safety and precision.

Qualifications

• Broad engineering experience with emphasis on hydraulic systems and CAD tools.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Hands‑on workshop skills and dexterity for real‑world hardware.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop real‑time simulations for HWIL environments.
• Perform planned and corrective maintenance on motion simulators and antenna positioning systems.
• Work both independently and as part of a cohesive HWIL team.
