Job summary

Telent Technology Services Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Highways Technology Technician to support fault rectification, proactive maintenance and improvements across designated motorway network regions. You will coordinate with engineers, manage maintenance schedules and attend incidents, with some night shifts and travel required.

Qualifications

• Experience in highway/highway electrical systems preferred.
• Comfort working roadside with potential night shifts.
• Ability to liaise with engineers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of site safety practices and EH&S.

Responsibilities

• Cover fault rectification and maintenance on technology assets across the contract area.
• Manage proactive, reactive and planned maintenance within the network.
• Coordinate inspections and maintenance schedules with Lead engineer.
• Adjust work allocations in response to emergencies to meet response times.
• Assist in development of maintenance programmes and liaise with service partners.
• Maintain understanding of client processes, specifications and standards.
