North East Combined Authority is seeking a Highways Technical Support Officer to provide technical, business and administrative support within the Traffic, Road Safety and Parking Service at South Shields.

You will assist engineers and service officers with data handling, inquiries and consultations, and help manage traffic, collision, speed and parking information, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Highways Technical Support Officer

(Town Hall, South Shields)

£26,847 pa

To provide effective technical, business and administrative support within the Traffic, Road Safety and Parking Service, working as part of the Highways Infrastructure and Project Delivery Department.

You will support engineers, technicians and service officers by assisting with data handling, responding to enquiries, supporting consultations, and helping to manage traffic, collision, speed and parking-related information.

The role operates flexibly across the service, providing a link between technical teams, administrative functions and service users, and helping to ensure that information is accurate, consistent and delivered in a timely manner.

We do not currently offer skilled worker visa sponsorship.
