Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee daily site activities on a highways scheme, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

You will supervise site operatives, gangs and subcontractors, coordinate labour, plant and materials, and liaise with Site Management to report progress and any issues.

Strong leadership, SSSTS/SMSTS and CSCS are essential, with a solid knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Foreman on highways or civil engineering projects.
• Experience supervising site gangs and operatives.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Valid First Aid certificate.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site operatives, gangs and subcontractors.
• Oversee highway works, road construction, drainage, kerbing and associated civils.
• Allocate daily tasks and coordinate labour, plant and materials.
• Monitor progress and ensure works are completed on schedule.
• Maintain health, safety and quality standards.
• Liaise with Site Management and report progress or site issues.
