Job summary

RTL Group Ltd, a national civil engineering contractor, seeks a Foreman to help deliver a major civils package in Trowbridge. You will lead site operatives and subcontractors, coordinate labour, plant and materials, and ensure daily activities run smoothly on site.

The role requires a strong civil engineering background, CSCS (Gold/Black) and SSSTS/SMSTS, with solid RAMS and health & safety knowledge, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Gold CSCS or Black CSCS card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Previous experience managing or supervising major civils schemes.
• Strong civil engineering background.
• Good understanding of RAMS and health and safety procedures.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.
• Managing day-to-day site activities.
• Overseeing civil engineering works on a large civils scheme.
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
• Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Liaising with the Site Manager and project team.
