Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure project in Fareham. You will set out civil works, ensure conformance with drawings and specifications, and maintain precise site records on a high-profile scheme.

The role offers an immediate start, with competitive day rates and the opportunity to liaise with management, subcontractors, and clients while delivering quality, safety, and budget adherence on time.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civil engineering projects.
• Proficient in setting out using GPS and total station equipment.
• Strong understanding of QA procedures and as-built records.
• Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or similar).
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for highways and civil engineering works.
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the client.
• Carrying out quality assurance checks and ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Supporting the delivery of works safely, on time, and within budget.
