Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Glasgow is seeking a Site Agent for a long-term highways project. You will report to the Project Manager and lead a team of Sub Agents, Setting Out Engineers, and Trainee Engineers to maintain high engineering control and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive civil engineering highway/structure experience, knowledge of NEC contracts, and a strong focus on safety and quality. This role is on-site in Glasgow and requires CSCS and SMSTS certifications.

Qualifications

• Extensive Civil Engineering background with highways/road construction experience.
• Exposure to drainage and earthworks in previous roles.
• CSCS and SMSTS certifications required.
• Strong commercial acumen and safety leadership.
• Customer-focused with negotiation and planning skills.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts or similar

Responsibilities

• Deliver project on time, within budget and to required quality.
• Ensure IMS procedures and guidance are followed by the project team.
• Familiarise with contract docs and drawings to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
• Promote and lead site safety culture in line with regulations and SHEQ standards
