Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited is seeking an experienced Gang Supervisor for major highways projects across Merseyside and the North West. You will lead a multi-skilled surfacing team, ensuring works are carried out safely, to specification and on schedule.

The role involves operating road surfacing plant, laying asphalt, and maintaining quality standards while promoting safe practices on site; CSCS and a full UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt laying and road surfacing.
• Proven ability to operate surfacing plant and tickets.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS preferred.
• Able to work independently and in a gang.

Responsibilities

• Operate road surfacing plant and equipment such as pavers and rollers.
• Lay coated materials in line with specifications and BS tolerances.
• Carry out day-to-day plant checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping and promote safety on site.
