Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for highways and infrastructure projects across Yorkshire and the North West. You will price work from initial enquiry through to submission, building competitive tenders and ensuring commercial viability for the client.

The role requires experience in estimating within highways or civil infrastructure, with strong commercial awareness and ability to manage risk. Hybrid working and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating within highways, surfacing or infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and tender information.
• Strong commercial awareness and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Pricing and tendering work from enquiry to submission.
• Produce accurate and competitive estimates.
• Review drawings and tender information for compliance.
• Assess commercial, contractual, operational and technical risk.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Prepare tender submissions aligned to client requirements.
• Support value engineering and alternative solutions.
• Contribute to tender reviews and bid strategy.
• Ensure tenders meet governance and commercial standards.
