Job summary

Bethell in Manchester is seeking a Project Manager (Highways) to manage civil engineering projects. The role requires ensuring delivery in accordance with client standards, leading health and safety measures, and overseeing project quality.

You will collaborate with clients, design partners, and internal teams, while maintaining a high standard of safety, communication, and project performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in civil engineering, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• CSCS accreditation.
• SMSTS 5-day accreditation.
• Minimum 3-day first aid accreditation.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a site supervisory role.
• Experience in civil engineering works.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Temporary Works Supervisor accreditation – Preferable.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering projects ensuring delivery per client requirements.
• Implement necessary safety measures to ensure a safe workplace.
• Act as an ambassador for the company while engaging with clients.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards.
