Qualifikationen

• HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a site supervisory or project management role.
• Experience delivering highways and civil engineering projects.
• CSCS Card.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations.
• Knowledge of NEC forms of contract.

Aufgaben

• Manage highways and civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to successful completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with client requirements.
• Lead and promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across all project activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Manage project programmes, resources and operational activities to achieve delivery objectives.
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed to specification and required standards.
• Monitor project costs, variations and contractual obligations, supporting commercial performance and accurate valuations.
• Maintain project documentation, technical records, drawings and reporting requirements.
• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance and performance standards are achieved.
• Ensure timely project handover, including as-built information, O&M manuals and Health & Safety documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and support the achievement of zero-defect project delivery.
