Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver highway schemes within the Connect Plus Services JV on the M25, managing health & safety, cost, environment and delivery across multiple projects. The role includes line management of PMs and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery across a portfolio valued from small works to larger schemes.

The position requires senior experience in highways delivery, strong leadership, and robust stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering highways construction & maintenance operations.
• Project management qualifications (PRINCE2, APMP) preferred.
• Broad knowledge of design interfaces and HS&E requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate as Portfolio Manager in absence.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders to align delivery objectives.
• Report project performance and manage risks, issues, and change.
• Oversee and challenge PM input on portfolio income/costs.
• Lead regular project reviews and maintain risk/registers.
• Allocate projects to PMs based on capability and workload.
