Job summary

Amey is recruiting a Highways Maintenance Pre-siter to join Area 7 Highways team across the UK. You will perform pre-site visits, assess labour, equipment and access for planned highway works, and coordinate with supervisors, planners and the schemes team to deliver activities safely and efficiently.

The role offers a competitive salary (details on enquiry) and may include winter maintenance and emergency call-out duties. Full UK driving licence and SMSTS are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in highway maintenance operations.
• Strong focus on health and safety compliance.
• Ability to interpret statutory utility drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-site assessments for traffic management and minor works.
• Determine labour, plant, equipment and materials required.
• Identify access arrangements and order materials.
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with stakeholders.
• Support winter maintenance and emergency call-outs.
