Job summary

Oldham Council is recruiting a Supervisor Roadworker to lead and carry out maintenance and construction of roads, sewers and groundwork at Moorhey Street Depot in Oldham. The role is permanent, 36.66 hours per week, with a grade 6 salary and a focus on highways operations.

You will supervise teams or work independently, operate highway vehicles and light/heavy plant, carry out groundworks, and support winter maintenance and emergency highway duties in line with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria include relevant highway maintenance experience.
• A valid driving license is required.
• Supervision and mentoring experience is desirable.
