Job summary

Oldham Council is seeking a Supervisor Roadworker to lead and undertake maintenance and construction of roads, sewers, and drainage at Moorhey Street Depot. The role requires experience and leadership to supervise a team or work independently.

You will drive highways vehicles, operate light and heavy plant, perform groundworks, and contribute to winter maintenance and emergency highway works. A valid driving license and proven supervisory skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant highway maintenance and construction experience.
• A valid driving licence.
• Supervision and mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain roads and sewers.
• Carry out Winter Maintenance duties.
• Drive specialist plant and operate highways equipment.
