Job summary

Amey is recruiting for a Highways Supervisor to join the National Highways Account at Bramham Maintenance Compound, Leeds. You will supervise frontline teams delivering routine, cyclic and reactive highway maintenance, ensuring safe, efficient completion in line with contractual requirements.

The role involves coordinating resources, promoting a strong safety culture and supporting winter maintenance and emergency response operations. 45 hours per week, permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways maintenance or civil engineering environments.
• Strong supervisory and frontline management capabilities.
• Good grasp of health, safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operational teams delivering highway maintenance across the network.
• Ensure works comply with safety, legislation and contractual requirements.
• Monitor quality, productivity and performance; conduct site inspections and audits.
• Coordinate resources, plant, materials and labour for efficient delivery.
• Support winter maintenance and emergency response activities.
• Maintain records, reports and documentation accurately.
