Job summary
Amey Ltd in Scotland is recruiting a Permanent Landscape Architect (Highways) to join the Scottish Grounds Maintenance team. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with responsibilities spanning landscape surveys, design, and reports for M8 DBFO and related contracts.
The ideal candidate has landscape architecture experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with AutoCAD/KeySCAPE; GIS knowledge is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or related field.
- Member of the Landscape Institute, Pathway to Chartership preferred.
- Experience on highways maintenance contracts desirable.
Responsibilities
- Support landscape deliverables under line manager guidance.
- Plan and undertake landscape surveys and assessments.
- Prepare landscape studies, management strategies and biodiversity reviews.
- Design, detailing and specification of minor landscape projects.
- Assist in analysis, checks, measurement and reporting of projects.
- Liaise with stakeholders including Overseeing Organisation and authorities.
- Collaborate with environmental and GIS teams to improve processes.
- Present reports clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure delivery within scope, programme and budget.
