Amey Consulting Scotland is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Structures Team across Perth, Motherwell and Edinburgh. The role offers a 40-hour week with hybrid and flexible working patterns within a broad Scottish network.

You will work within the Design team alongside Transport Scotland, contributing to major roads, bridges and infrastructure projects with potential for progression as part of Amey’s long-term contracts across Scotland.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in highway engineering, local roads, S278 layouts.
• Ability to work commercially, meet programme targets and generate income.
• Capable of supervising junior staff and checking work.

Responsabilités

• Produce technically sound engineering solutions in line with standards and client requirements.
• Prepare designs, calculations and drawings for scheme deliverables, supervise junior staff.
• Liaise with client and supplier representatives, attend progress meetings, respond to queries.
