Amey in Scotland is seeking a Permanent Landscape Architect (Highways) to join our Scottish Grounds Maintenance team. You’ll assist with landscape design, surveys, and management across M8 DBFO and North-East & South-West Highways Contracts.

The role suits a recently qualified landscape architect with strong attention to detail and proficiency in AutoCAD / KeySCAPE, GIS, and report writing. You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or related discipline.
• Member of the Landscape Institute, Pathway to Chartership.
• Experience on highways maintenance contracts desirable.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Work under line manager direction, assisting in landscape deliverables.
• Plan and undertake landscape surveys and assessments.
• Support preparation of landscape studies, management strategies and biodiversity reviews.
• Undertake design, detailing and specification of minor landscape projects.
• Support analysis, reviews, checks, measurement and reporting of landscape projects.
• Engage with stakeholders and external authorities to ensure compliant delivery.
• Collaborate with environmental and GIS teams to enhance capabilities and deliver solutions.
• Present reports clearly to diverse audiences and ensure timely delivery within scope.
