An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Council's Highways Maintenance Team as a Highways Inspector within the Highways, Engineering & Project Delivery Service.
This is a key frontline role where you will help ensure that one of the Midlands' largest local highway networks remains safe, functional and well maintained.Working as part of a dedicated and professional team, you will undertake routine and reactive highway inspections, identify defects, investigate customer enquiries and support the delivery of maintenance and improvement programmes across the borough.
The Highways, Engineering & Project Delivery Service i s responsible for the planning, design, delivery and maintenance of the borough's highway infrastructure, supporting safe and sustainable travel while ensuring compliance with statutory duties .
