Job summary

Carrington West is actively seeking a Team Leader with experience in Highways Consents and Transport Infrastructure to join our Buckinghamshire client. You will lead a team of transport planning professionals, delivering expert highways advice and liaising with stakeholders and consultants while overseeing statutory highway responses and delivery programmes.

This is a full-time contract role with flexible working arrangements and a daily rate of £450–£500, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a highway/transport planning team.
• Proven experience with highways consents and infrastructure delivery.
• Ability to manage a complex programme of works.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of highway professionals delivering expert transport planning advice.
• Provide expert highways guidance on all matters related to highways.
• Liaise with stakeholders including the public, bodies, contractors and consultants.
• Carry out site visits across the area to ensure quality control.
• Manage a complex programme of works related to highways infrastructure and statutory responses.
