Job summary

Strata Consulting seeks a Principal Engineer with highways sector experience to join our growing team in the South of England. You will support and deputise for the Infrastructure Director, winning and delivering projects safely, efficiently and effectively.

You will work with private and public sector clients on development infrastructure from feasibility to detailed design, including highway and drainage aspects, leading teams and managing multiple projects to time and budget.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering experience in a consultancy.
• Delivery of highway and drainage design to standards.
• Experience in DM RB MfS Local Authority guides and related design guides.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial, technical and project delivery for highway projects.
• Direct engineers and technicians; supervise juniors.
• Lead highway designs from feasibility to detailed design.
• Ensure designs meet standards and are fully co-ordinated.
• Provide technical outputs: drawings, specs, cost estimates, reports.
• Develop client relationships and take commercial responsibility.
