Job summary

Sweco UK Ltd in Leeds is seeking an Engineer to join the Highways team. You will contribute to landmark highway projects across strategic roads and city-centre schemes, working from inception through to construction and handover.

You will gain exposure to design disciplines, use Bentley OpenRoads or Civils 3D, and deliver outputs such as drawings and calculations while developing professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree and working towards a professional qualification.
• Experience planning and delivering highway project elements on multi-disciplinary schemes.
• Experience in highway geometry design per DMRB; ideally with Manual for Streets guidance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake highway design elements from geometry to drainage with support from seniors.
• Produce drawings, specifications, schedules, reports and calculations.
• Collaborate with team and other disciplines; ensure deliverables meet timescales and budgets.
• Ensure all work complies with IMS and health and safety requirements.
