Job summary

Calibre Search is recruiting a Design Engineer to join our Leeds team, focusing on highways and drainage from planning through construction. The role offers hybrid working with a three-day office minimum and the chance to work across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, and energy developments.

You will design infrastructure schemes, prepare Flood Risk Assessments, and liaise with authorities, clients, and statutory undertakers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in civil infrastructure design.
• Experience in highways and drainage design for developments.
• Experience with Flood Risk Assessments & Drainage Strategies.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and statutory undertakers.

Responsibilities

• Design highways and drainage schemes from planning to construction.
• Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Produce technical reports and liaise with authorities throughout delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers as you progress in your career.
