Job summary

VolkerHighways in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, offers a Full-time 45 hours per week Highways Electrical Apprenticeship (Level 2). The program combines on-the-job learning with college blocks and provides full training and support for those without previous electrical experience.

You’ll join project teams across the south of the UK and learn through real site work and structured training. Attendance at college blocks is required, with overnight accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Interest in electrical work and outdoor environments.
• Good safety awareness and timekeeping.
• Willingness to work in a team and learn on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fault diagnosis and repairs on site.
• Support electrical testing and commissioning of installations.
• Assist installation of street lighting columns, signs and bollards.
• Follow health, safety, environmental and wellbeing procedures.
