Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking an operative to drive gully wagons and work on highways maintenance contracts in the Grateley/Andover area. The role involves jetting, CCTV surveys, and working with a small team to keep drainage assets safe and compliant.

The position requires a HGV Class 2 license (max 6 points), and candidates should be comfortable with IT data entry, remote work, and safety procedures. A CPC licence is desirable, with a focus on reliable, practical performance.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-specification jetting and vacuumation units as part of a two-person team.
• Carry out remote CCTV investigations to assess underground pipes and sewers.
• Use high-pressure water jetting to clear blockages in drains and sewers.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records.
• Ensure safety issues are reported and addressed.
• Carry out vehicle and jetting equipment checks.
