Lanes Group is recruiting for a gully wagon operative-based role in Grateley, Hampshire. You will drive and operate jetting/vacuum units as part of a small team to maintain highways’ drainage systems, using a tablet for records and on-site safety checks.
The role requires an HGV Class 2 licence (6 points max), good IT/data entry skills, and clear communication; CPC qualification is desirable and training will be provided where needed.

Highways works closely with operational and delivery teams to provide specialist infrastructure services that support the safe and efficient operation of the UK’s road network.
The team delivers a range of maintenance, drainage, and improvement works, helping to enhance network performance, minimise disruption to road users, and ensure highways assets remain safe, compliant, and resilient for the communities they serve.
Working on a variety of different reactive contracts, you will be driving our gully wagons, working closely with an operative to clean along the highways. This role can be physically demanding as you will be required to cover a lot of ground on foot as well as working in restrictive spaces. Use of a tablet is also a requirement of the role; therefore, you will need to have knowledge of using them.
