Job summary

Lanes Group Ltd is recruiting for a gully wagon operator based in Grateley, Hampshire. The role involves driving and operating jetting/vacuumation units on reactive highway contracts, with close teamwork and field work across the network. You will be handling CCTV checks and recording data while maintaining safety standards.

The position requires an HGVClass 2 licence (max 6 points) and IT literacy. CPC certification is desirable, with a 50-hour week and a salary of £36,000–£45,000 per year

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving licence essential (no more than 6 points).
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Team player.
• Competent in IT, accurate data entry.
• CPC Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate high‑specification jetting and vacuumation units as part of a two‑person team.
• Carry out remote CCTV investigations to assess underground pipes and sewers.
• Operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages in drains and sewers.
• Liaise with customers.
• Update electronic records.
• Ensure safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and jetting equipment checks.
