Job summary

Lanes Group in Havant is recruiting a permanent, full‑time Drainage Technician for the Southern Water contract. You will travel by van in a two-person team to residential sites to repair and maintain drainage, install patch liners, and carry out CCTV surveys.

The role requires a HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and a digi tachograph card, with a 50‑hour week. Salary is £42,522, and you will use VISTEC and Salesforce to log reports while upholding safety standards and delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• Experience with High Pressure Jetting is useful but not essential
• HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and digi tachograph card are required

Responsibilities

• Travel by van in a two-person team to residential sites within the region
• Repair and maintain drainage systems and install patch liners for first-time-fix sewer and drain repairs
• Survey drainage networks and produce high-quality reports using advanced surveying equipment
• Record each job report accurately on the equipment provided and communicate progress with the client
• Maintain high H&S standards and ensure PPE and safe site set-ups
