Job summary

Carrington West in London is seeking a Highway Development Control Engineer to respond to planning enquiries from a highway engineering perspective (sections 278, 38 and 106 agreements), manage design reviews, and undertake site inspections.

This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of £42,000–£44,000 per annum, negotiable for the right candidate and depending on experience. Flexible working and working from home options are available.

• Representing the client at public hearings and enquiries when necessary

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Development Control Engineer to join a client in London. Your main duties include responding to planning enquiries from a highway engineering perspective (section 278, section 38 and section 106 agreements), managing the design review process for highway DC projects, undertaking site inspections and representing the client in public enquires / hearings when necessary.

This is a full-time permanent position. The salary on offer is £42,000 - £44,000 per annum, negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working and working from home options are available.

Previous experience in Highways is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Project Managers and Transport Planners with similar backgrounds across the South of UK.
