Job summary

Carrington West in London is seeking a Highway Development Control Engineer to respond to planning enquiries from a highway engineering perspective (sections 278, 38 and 106 agreements), manage design reviews, and undertake site inspections.

This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of £42,000–£44,000 per annum, negotiable for the right candidate and depending on experience. Flexible working and working from home options are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Highways is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Responding to planning enquiries from an engineering perspective, including section 278, section 28 and section 106 agreements
• Managing the design review process for highway development control projects
• Undertaking site inspections, visits and data collection
• Representing the client at public hearings and enquiries when necessary
