Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Highway Development Control Engineer to join a client in London. You will respond to planning enquiries from a highway engineering perspective and manage the design review process for highway DC projects, while undertaking site inspections.

This is a full-time contract with a rate of £42–£45 per hour plus expenses, with flexible working and home-working options available. Previous highway experience is essential, and opportunities exist across the South of the UK.

An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Development Control Engineer to join a client in London. Your main duties include responding to planning enquiries from a highway engineering perspective (section 278, section 38 and section 106 agreements), managing the design review process for highway DC projects, undertaking site inspections and representing the client in public enquires / hearings when necessary.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £42 - £45 per hour + expenses - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working and working from home options are available.
