A leading infrastructure consultancy based in Greater London is seeking a Highways Design Engineer to join their London North team. Qualifications

• Hold or be working towards an appropriate professional qualification (IEng / CEng etc).
• Ability to compile specifications and Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Full UK/EEC driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering projects exceeding £1m from initiation to completion.
• Design experience in highways and contribute to local government projects.
• Mentorship and training for professional or academic qualifications.

Skills

Highway design guidance

Local Authority and national design standards

Proficient in AutoCAD

Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word)

Understanding of CDM regulations

Education

HND or degree level in civil engineering BEng/Meng
