Job summary

National Highways invites applications for a Site Supervisor in Operations to oversee major maintenance and minor improvement schemes across the Yorkshire North East region. You will perform construction surveillance and assurance inspections, ensuring quality of works by external contractors and reporting to the CAM.

Regular travel to sites is required. Applicants must have highway/structures experience, a valid driving licence with up to 3 points, and CSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proven highway/structures and maintenance/construction experience.
• Good understanding of DMRB, MCHW, Chapter 8 and CDM Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Undertake construction surveillance and assurance inspections to verify quality of works by contractors.
• Assist in coordinating the delivery programme and ensure buildability reviews on projects.
• Act as liaison between key supply chain partners and site management to resolve issues.
• Represent National Highways on site and escalate concerns to the Construction Assurance Manager.
