Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Site Supervisor to support major maintenance and minor improvement schemes across the Yorkshire North East region. You will conduct construction surveillance and assurance inspections, ensuring works meet standards and CDM regulations, while coordinating with Project Managers and supply chain partners.

Qualifications

• Proven highway/structures and maintenance/construction experience.
• Good understanding of the DMRB, MCHW, Chapter 8 and CDM Regulations.
• CSCS Card Holder, SSSTS or SMSTS Certificate is essential.
• Ability to execute tasks independently yet work collaboratively with a team.
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assuring completion of planned works to agreed standards.
• Ensure compliance with CDM/HSE/regulations.
• Provide regular feedback to Project Managers on progress and risks.
• Coordinate delivery programmes with supply chain partners.
• Represent National Highways interests on site and escalate issues as needed.
