Job summary

Colas Ltd is seeking a Permit Officer for our Portsmouth depot to help keep the highway network moving by reviewing and coordinating permits and works. You will assess planned and ongoing works, coordinate with utilities and contractors, and monitor compliance to minimise disruption.

The ideal candidate has highway engineering or street works coordination experience, with knowledge of TMA/NRSWA and HAUC guidance. We offer a hybrid working scheme and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in highway engineering or street works coordination.
• Good understanding of TMA and NRSWA.
• Knowledge of HAUC guidance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review and process permit applications and notices on time.
• Coordinate with promoters, utilities and internal teams to minimise disruption.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures.
