Job Description:

Procter Street is partnering with a well-established North-West based civils company specializing in highway maintenance. Celebrating nearly 50 years in business, they have built a strong client base through outstanding service.

They seek an experienced Supervisor to join their Maintenance team, overseeing routine and cyclic maintenance, resilience works, patching, carriageway and footway improvements, surface treatments, and street furniture upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise allocated works within the programme.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget according to Works Information.
• Monitor compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and CDM requirements.
• Manage risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH for schemes.
• Conduct site inductions emphasizing safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have experience in reactive highway maintenance, a strong technical background, and leadership skills. Specifically, they should possess:

• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• NRSWA supervisor card
• Experience at a supervisory level in highway maintenance
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Flexibility for overtime and night shifts
