Job Description:

Procter Street is partnering with a well-established and expanding North-West based Civils company in the Highway Maintenance sector. With nearly 50 years in business, they have built a highly desired client base through outstanding service.

They seek an experienced Supervisor to support their Maintenance team, ensuring routine and cyclic maintenance, resilience works, patching, carriageway and footway improvements, surface treatment, and vehicle restraint and street furniture enhancements are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise allocated works within the programme.
• Ensure projects are developed and delivered safely, on time, and within budget, following Works Information.
• Monitor Health and Safety Regulations and CDM requirements.
• Manage Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and COSHH for schemes.
• Conduct site inductions promoting Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

We seek candidates with experience in reactive highway maintenance, a solid technical background, and leadership skills. Specifically:

• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• NRSWA supervisor card
• Experience in highway maintenance supervisory roles
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Flexibility for overtime and potential night shifts
