Job description

Job responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the Physiotherapist service in your area of specialism and participate in policy review and updates.
  • Provide clinical support to Physiotherapist staff to develop their skills through training, second opinions, and joint working, supervising assistants, PT students, and less experienced Physiotherapists.
  • Manage your own caseload across various settings, delivering highly specialist interventions and providing information to parents, carers, and other professionals.
  • Maintain continuous professional development and inform Clinical Quality Leads and Team Leads of research and policy impacts on local practices.
  • Participate in and promote Clinical Governance to ensure high-quality practice within the service.

Person Specification Qualifications (Essential):

  • HCPC registered
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Registered member of British Association of OT/Chartered Society of Physiotherapists
  • Experience as a Paediatric Physiotherapist in NHS with System One knowledge
  • UK Driving License and Car Owner
