Job summary

First Class Supply is seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support schools in Northumberland on short-term and long-term assignments. You will work with teaching teams to support the National Curriculum, plan resources, and raise standards in learning by delivering set lessons.

The role requires a proven HLTA track record, familiarity with intervention strategies, and experience across Early Years to KS2, with evidence of a positive impact on pupil development.

Qualifications

• HLTA experience in primary settings.
• Knowledge of intervention strategies to support learning.
• Experience delivering lessons to Early Years, KS1 and KS2 pupils and improving pupil development.

Responsibilities

• Support the National Curriculum and collaborate with teaching teams.
• Plan and manage resources to raise standards in learning.

Job description

First Class supply are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work on various short term and long term assignments in schools in and around Northumberland.

Responsibilities will include working collaboratively with the teaching team to support the National Curriculum, planning and managing resources and raising standards in learning and delivering set lessons.

You will need to have a proven track record in a HLTA role, knowledge of Intervention strategies, experience of delivering lessons to Early Years, Key Stage One and key Stage Two pupils and be able to demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development.

Please note that the pay rate will depend of the level of experience and qualification achieved by the post holder.
