Job summary

First Class Supply are recruiting Early Years Teaching Assistants in and around the Newcastle area. The role involves providing play and learning opportunities for children from babies to age 5, maintaining a safe, stimulating environment and supporting senior staff with nursery duties.

You should be NVQ Level 2 in a relevant child care qualification, have at least 6 months recent experience (paid, voluntary or placement) and know the EYFS Framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ level 2 in a relevant child care qualification.
• At least 6 months recent experience (paid, voluntary or placement).
• Ability to work with babies to age 5 and understand child development.
• Knowledge of EYFS Framework.

First Class Supply are currently recruiting Early Years Teaching Assistants in and around the Newcastle area. The work ranges from daily to ongoing assignments from as little as 4 hours per week up to 39 hours per week. This means we are able to provide you with a position that suits your lifestyle. Duties will include providing play and learning opportunities for all children and to maintain a safe and stimulating fun environment as well as assisting senior centre staff with general nursery duties.

• Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2 in a relevant child care qualification
• 6 months recent experience (this can be either paid employment, voluntary or placement experience)
• Ability to work with babies to age 5
• Understanding of child development
• Knowledge of EYFS Framework
