Job summary

St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School in Weymouth is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support children with SEND. The role starts 1st September 2026, is 27.5 hours per week (term time only) with 5 INSET days, and runs on a fixed term to August 2027.

The salary is Grade G 19-22 (£32,061 to £33,699 full-time equivalent) or £16.62-£17.47 per hour; contract is Part-Time/Fixed Term. Applicants with experience are encouraged to apply and professional development is offered.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant Vacancy – Fixed Term to August 2027

27.5 hours per week (Term time only) & 5 INSET Days

The Governors of St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School, Hardy Avenue, Weymouth, are seeking to appoint a positive and inspiring Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support children with SEND from 1stSeptember 2026.
