Job summary

Deanesfield Primary School is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team from ASAP. You will work with our SENDCo and teachers to deliver targeted interventions and a personalised curriculum for pupils with EHCPs and cover whole classes during planned absences.

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and resilient Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive teaching team from ASAP.

In this role, you will work closely with our SENDCo and class teachers to plan, deliver, and assess targeted interventions and a personalised curriculum for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) as well as stepping in to cover whole classes during planned teacher absences.
We are looking for a HLTA who is:

• A believer in the possibilities and potential of all children.
• Confident when delivering small group interventions as well as whole class cover.
• Able to communicate easily with colleagues.
• Has a good understanding of EYFS/KS1/KS2 curriculum.
